Spice World return with sophomore album Purple Patch

Pam Boland called their debut record “one of her favourite Australian albums of the last few years” and now Spice World is back with sophomore album Purple Patch.

The story of album two goes, following their first release they set up in a friend’s spare bedroom in South Fremantle with producer Jeremy Segal to get cracking on a brand new album, discovering what can be captured in brief moments of time when everyone finally happens to be in the same place. Three years later, the first two singles are here!

Spice World is made up of musician friends Billie Burrows, Lyndon Blue, Julia Suddenly, Rhian Todhunter and Layla Martin.

They joined Pam Boland in the studio for Breakfast to chat about the release of the first two singles ahead of the new album in October.
