Stirling Kain And Katie Dukovčić: The IOTA Partisans Project

The Indian Ocean Triennial Australia (IOTA) is a not-for-profit arts organization based in Perth, Western Australia, that presents every three years, consisting of a international exhibition, a conference, a large satellite festival, and other events and activities.

Stirling explains when she joined, and why she loves the program, going on to talking about the separation between arts and craft.

Katie talks about the role of IOTA partisans at the festival, why their role is so important to young, emerging artist trying to put their foot in the door and kick start their carers .

Stirling and Katie describe what professional development opportunities are involved for artists including an international conference from the 3rd to the 6th of September at Curtin University.
