Tame Impala’s Barbagallo Très Cool New Release

Barbagallo is the solo project of Julien Barbagallo, the French drummer of legendary Aussie act Tame Impala.

His new release Les Grands Brûlés diverts from the folk-rock work he is used to and brings his own spin on French pop music which is hypnotic and dominated by the use of synthesisers and keyboards. As with prior work Barbagallo also elects to sing in French.

The Snooze Button show had a chat with Barbagallo on his musical history and production on the new project which involved a bunch of talented collaborators
