The Agenda – April 12, 2022

Sophie Minissale has returned to the studio for the latest edition of The Agenda, a fledgling news and culture show about people from an underrepresented gender.

Dr David Riley makes an early appearance on the show, extrapolating upon his research surrounding how men and women estimated their own intelligence, through specific expressions of socially desirable trait such as honesty or how good one’s driving capabilities are.

Along the way, Danielle Raffaele catches up with psychology researcher Dr Ross Hollett from the School of Arts and Humanities at ECU, to discuss new studies around how certain eye gazing behaviour, where looking at peoples bodies rather than their faces, is linked with harmful attitudes towards sexual assault.
