The Awakenings Ensemble presents ‘Tales from the Orient’

The Awakenings Ensemble is an internationally acclaimed group comprised of Michael Pignéguy, Esfandiar Shahmir, Michael Edelby and Steve Richter, bringing together musicians from diverse regions of the globe.

Presented by The Awakenings Ensemble, ‘Tales from the Orient‘ takes audiences on a musical voyage from Istanbul to Pakistan bringing the sounds from Turkish, Middle Eastern and Persian traditions to life on stage.

Hosted at Judith Cottier Theatre on November, 16 this special performance will also feature Kira Gunn (harp), guests Jessica Beahan, Pete Jeavons, Bob Tweedie and Jeremy Grieg.
