The Fogarty Literary Award Shortlist: The Skeleton House by Katherine Allum

We are days away from the Fogarty Literary Award – a prize for an up and coming writer or unpublished manuscript – with a glowing list of local writers on this year’s shortlist, including Katherine Allum for her novel The Skeleton House.

Set in a small town in the Nevada desert, it follows Meg, mother of two and married to Kyle who is not who he seems. As tensions start to rise in her home we learn about the darkness that lies beneath her seemingly everyday existence.

RTRFMs Danielle Raffaele caught up with Katherine earlier in the studio to chat about Fogarty and the making of the book.
