The Human Library Perth: Unjudge Someone

April 5th saw the Human Library Organisation host an event at the Lotterywest Boorloo Heritage Festival.

Beginning in Copenhagen in 2000, the Human Library is an international organisation that aims to challenge stereotypes by facilitating open conversation about difficult topics. The Library hosts volunteer ‘human books’, available to share their stories and experiences to readers.

Book depot manager Kate Hansen and librarian and book Karen Eagling joined RTR’s Bec Bowman to chat about the project on this episode of Artbeat.
