The Volcanics go loud with their latest single

WA legends The Volcanics are set to release their new single, ‘Why’d Ya Do That’. A song written by Paul McCarthy in the 1970’s and a tune the band have played for many years, quite often with Paul up on stage with them. Paul lost his life last year after a battle with cancer and now The Volcanics want to release the tune to the world.

The band will be launching ‘Why’d Ya Do That’ at Lyric’s Underground Saturday March 19.

Singer, Johnny popped into Drivetime to catch up with Chris Wheeldon to chat about the tune, playing to a restricted crowd and making music in Perth. Check out the interview below.
