TikTok Ban?

The social media platform TikTok is under fire again with talks of banning the app in Australia. Concerns of data breaches and theft of personal information from the Chinese owned app, with the potential for nefarious use of our information.

This isn’t the first time social media apps have threatened our privacy, but should we be concerned, or is TikTok just another app in the long list of online media services?

Jeff Bullen chats with Dr Milovan Savic about whether Australia should follow America’s bill to ban the controversial app, or whether another app would simply take its place.
