Tim Shiel forges connections on his latest LP, Distractions One

Tim Shiel’s collaborative album Distractions One was released on October 27, rounding of over a year of collaborations with artists ranging from breakout hip hop artist Genesis Owusu to Perth/Boorloo born singer Kaitlin Keegan.

Documenting a period of deep exploration for the producer, Distractions One effortlessly shifts dance and electronic styles across the album’s ten tracks. Deep house pulses, afrobeat rhythms, ambient textures, boom-bap and more combine on a collection that is both emotionally resonant and sonically thrilling.
