Tough Pleasures with Toni Wilkinson

Born in London and now living and working in Perth photographer, Toni Wilkinson joins Bec Bowman to talk about the release of her book and exhibition Tough Pleasures.

“The series which began in 2003 presents a series of domestic portraits which reinterpret the conflicted dynamics of femininity and food, playfully exploring provocative motifs of forbidden fruit, sexuality, religion and the absurd. ”

The exhibition opens at Art Collective‘s Cathedral Space on Saturday 11 March.
