UP THERE is an audio walking tour around Walyalup/Freo that investigates the impacts of COVID, the housing/rental crisis, and late-stage capitalism on people’s ability to occupy spaces.

The show promises to breathe life into these forgotten places through local stories and research into the history of the empty spaces; what came before them, what used to be in the buildings, who used to occupy them, why they left, and where they are now.
