WA’s Mr Gay Pride Finalist Josh Haines on championing mental health in the arts

It’s been several years since the last Mr Gay Pride Australia was crowned, but following a COVID-19 hiatus finalists for 2022 have been announced.

The competition is designed to find, build, and develop future leaders within the LGBTQIA+ community around Australia and the world, providing a platform for issues they’re passionate about.

This year’s Boorloo (Perth) finalist Josh Haines joined Samuel England for All Things Queer to chat about the competition and his advocacy for mental health and well-being in the arts.
