WA Reflections presents Sound Twitcher: The life and legacy of John Hutchinson

Sound Twitcher is the latest in the WA Reflections series following the life of John Hutchinson in capturing WA birdsong.

Over more than fifty years John Hutchinson traversed Western Australia on his own, capturing the State’s birdlife in natural, untouched habitats. Hutchinson amassed a remarkable collection of recordings during that time, which are now retained as part of the State Library archives.

Documentary film maker Olivia Davies joined Danielle Raffaele for Artbeat to discuss the production of this significant documentary.
