WA Showcase 2025 works to uplifts local performing arts sector

The not-for-profit organisation CircuitWest aims to advocate the performing arts sector in Western Australia. This July, they held the WA Showcase 2025, which provided a combination of  conferences on various aspects of the performing sector, and opportunities for over 30 WA companies and artists to pitch their work to a broader audience.

CircuitWest’s Executive Director Philippa Maughan joined Bec Bowman on Artbeat to discuss the WA Showcase, the challenges involved in engaging creatives across the industry, and this year’s focus on marketing and First Nations artists.
