Wayne Green documentary, ‘Green: The Fight for Rock and Roll’

After being on the brink of fame not once, but three times, Wayne Green is fighting for Rock And Roll!

Green‘s career took a rocking start when he joined The Phantoms in the 1970s. A decade later, The Phantoms disbanded and Green joined The Boys.

After another decade and disbanding, he launched a solo country project under the name Kid Green, in the 1990s. Sadly, the opportunity to rise once again was missed.

Now, at 72, Wayne Green is on the cusp of something big, but he’s haunted by the same demons that have kept him from realizing his dreams in the past. Directer, Luke Griffiths found inspiration in Green‘s story.

Green: The Fight for Rock and Roll’ is the feature film debut for writer and director, Luke Griffiths, a telling documentary about Wayne Green‘s life.

Screening at Luna Cinemas in Leederville on July, 6 and July 13 with an additional Q&A from Wayne Green and Luke Griffiths.
