Amelia Burke is a director and theatre maker, a graduate of the BPA (Performance Making) from WAAPA and the MFA (Directing) from NIDA. She has worked as a teaching artist and director for a variety of arts companies across the country.

“I’m interested in the theme of responsibility. Young people are concerned about the future, about big issues like the climate crisis. I’d like to support WAYTCo’s young members to come to know that they can contribute to the solving of big problems like this one. Theatre matters and it can change lives,”  Burke says when asked about her vision for WA Youth Theatre Company.
