World Celebrates ‘International Animation Day’

Since 2002, the International Animation Day (October 28th) continues to pay homage to the importance and beauty of animation in a variety of media.

The impact and presentation formats of Animations have evolved to feature 3D animation and special effects that we witness on Television, Publicity, the Music Industry, Cross Media, including the Internet.

More specially, it develops and grows as an art form through Shorts, Multimedia and Feature Films across Commercial Theatres, created by independent authors, artists, students, and children from all over the world.

On The Record presenter Graeme Watson took the opportunity to catch up and chat with Dr Darren C Fisher, an Animation Lecturer from Swinburne University, where together they discuss the importance of learning, processing history and learning life lessons from comics and animation.
