Having welcomed over 5,000 attendees and 91 speakers in it’s inaugural year, the experiential and thought-provoking convention known as XR:WA, is making its return to WA for a third edition with a more diverse program planned for 2021.
Designed to explore the opportunity and possibility of digital screen technology, the event; (comprising of speaker conferences, workshops, and interactive experiences), aims to host and bring the immersive worlds of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Computer Games, focussing on the potential digitally-based opportunities in fields such as: Science & Academia, Art & Entertainment, Architecture & Design, including Education and Medicine.
On The Record presenter Fiona Bartholomaeus is joined in the studio with Richard Sowada, who is the Director Of XR:WA, where they converse in conversation across topics surrounding the development of the conference since its inception, and whether the event will play a pivotal role in creating an impact for socio-cultural change.
XR:WA is a free event taking place in multiple locations across Perth from September 17-19. (See Full Program Here).
