Yazmindi is Dreaming On with her latest single

Heralding from Cooktown, Far-North Queensland, Yazmindi is a Byron Bay-based singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in folk, indie, pop and rock.

Her anticipated debut album Dream On is an empowering retrospective on adolescence. In this 11-track collection of work, Yazmindi narrates her journey from starry-eyed adolescence to an ambitious young woman which was inspired by her first solo trip out of Australia, to New York City, the dreamy city made her feel like she could do anything with her life.

Yazmindi joins RTRFM’s Rockin’ The Roots presenter Tamara Szep to chat about the impact COVID had on the writing of her debut album and her upcoming tour.
