Live at RTRFM: Great Statue

Every Wednesday morning we get a bit of live music on your airwaves…

For LIVE AT RTRFM this week, ahead of their appearance at RTR’s Postcards from The West …. We’re hearing from GREAT STATUE.

The Statue usually appears as a well-slicked, androgynous Laurie-Anderson-wannabe, lit from beneath by a cheap disco light, holding a bush chook in one hand, mic in the other… back in December the statue kept the disco light but swapped the tinny for a black coffee and the P-M for the THE A-M, visiting the station for Slightly Odway…

They covered Eurogliders with Absolutely…. WA Icons ….. but they also left us with an original song too, West Coast Blues.
