The Social Reckoning, Other Mommy, Sham and The History of Concrete (Movie Squad #557)

What’s cooler than two new movie reviews? Four new movie reviews.

Blockbuster Babes Simon Miraudo and Tristan Fidler join Breakfast host Pamela Boland for a bumper edition of Movie Squad.

First up, they get into a rat-a-tat discussion of Aaron Sorkin’s sequel to The Social Network, titled The Social Reckoning, now starring Jeremy Strong as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Then, Tristan shares his spooky thoughts on Jessica Chastain’s latest creepfest Other Mommy.

Stay tuned for pod-exclusive reviews of Takashi Miike’s new courtroom melodrama Sham, which is playing as part of the Japanese Film Festival. Then, they review John Wilson’s winding documentary about impermance, legacy and, um, concrete, The History of Concrete. Check the Luna Cinemas website for its limited session times.

Learn about the new season of Tristan’s Trash Classics screenings at Luna Cinemas held on the last Friday of every month.

Be sure to tune in to RTRFM every Friday at 7:30am to hear Movie Squad live on Breakfast with Pam!
