EDN

EDN is the moniker of Elena Dakota, a Kimberley based producer and singer song-writer who draws heavily upon pop, break and bass sounds to create janky, lo-fi electronica. Elena began making laptop music when she first discovered Garage Band in 2012. Under her first alias Allume, she released several textural, lo-fi pop EP’s through Melbourne based cassette-label Healthy Tapes (Lyndon Blue, Stella Donnelly) and was apart of many Adelaide bands including Introduction!, The Maraby Band and Rex Wonderful and the Silk Sheets. She also writes folk-leaning songs under her own name and released two EP’s in 2026 that are set to be released on cassette by Los Angeles based Cudighi Records later in the year. She currently lives in Derby, with her partner Sam, daughter Elsa and dingo-dag Jupiter. Elena, Sam and their friends host a weekly bass and electronic music show on their local station Larrkardi Radio (6DBY) called the Build-Up.
