‘Holiday Movies’ with Special Guest Andrea Gibbs (Movie Squad Podcast Episode #5)

It’s that most wonderful time of year… the Holidays! A time for celebrating with loved ones, sure, but more importantly, a time to watch movies! For the fifth episode of the Movie Squad RTRFM Podcast, presenters Simon Miraudo and Tristan Fidler seek to broaden the canon of Holiday Movies, to push beyond Christmas-themed movies like Gremlins and the ‘Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?’ debates and explore new titles that symbolise what holidays mean for all of us! They welcome special guest, the talented comedian/actor/radio presenter (and so much more!) Andrea Gibbs who picks her five favourite Holiday Movies with unexpected, amazing results (including such sights as Ben Mendelsohn being dodgy, baseball teams, and grisly-death-by-lasers, etc.). Then, Simon and Tristan present their own lists of non-denominational Holiday Movies for Andrea to judge and select if they are worthy of becoming canon (not all make the cut!).
