Runt and Speak No Evil (Movie Squad Podcast #182)

First out the gate is Runt, a WA-made feature based on Craig Silvey’s book of the same name, starring a rescue dog in the title role as the uncommonly speedy pup who’s welcomed into drought-stricken town of Upson Downs.

Then, it’s the remake of Speak No Evil, starring James McAvoy and Aisling Franciosi as an English couple who make life hell for Americans Scott McNairy and Mackenzie Davis.

Both films are now in Australian cinemas.
