Saltburn and Fingernails (Movie Squad Podcast #145)

This week’s edition of the Movie Squad podcast is hot, hot, hot (and not just because one of the films has ‘burn’ in the title).

Tristan Fidler and Simon Miraudo join Pamela Boland on Breakfast to review two new flicks starring a suite of sweetie pies.

First up, Tristan takes a visit to Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, starring Barry Keoghan as a chancer who winds up at the lordly estate of his wealthy pal (played by Australian Jacob Elordi).

Then, Simon pulls at Fingernails, starring Jessie Buckley, Riz Ahmed and Jeremy Allen White in a speculative sci-fi universe where people can find out if their love is really true… by extracting a fingernail each.

Both films are now in cinemas and Fingernails is also available to stream on Apple TV+.
