The Killer (Movie Squad Podcast #143)

Tristan Fidler returns – solo with Simon Miraudo away on special assignment – to Movie Squad and talks to Breakfast host Pam Boland about what they have both been watching recently! There’s chat about horror movies as a genre, concert movies changing how audiences behave in cinemas, and even catching up about the streaming sport documentary Beckham!

Then, we have a proper review of a new movie from director David Fincher (Gone Girl, The Social Network, Fight Club). The Killer stars Michael Fassbender as a professional hitman whose methodical routine and rules for his deadly occupation are tested when a job goes wrong. Also stars one of Pam’s favourite actors, Tilda Swinton (who Tristan met on his holiday at a BFI screening)! Currently screening in cinemas and will be available to stream on Netflix from November 10.
