About

Get to know Andy

Coming to Western Australia from the north of England in the mid 1980s was a revelation. Blue skies, beaches, an amazing landscape and, if you scratch the surface a bit, a vibrant creative community. After a couple of unsure years I finally realised this is the place for me.

I make things and teach people how to make things in the arts and entertainment industry.

I have been lucky enough to earn a living out of this passion and cannot imagine not having these things in my life.

My other passion in life is music and since my teenage years have been digging crates, seeing bands and seeking out to expand my knowledge on the rich history of music.

How did you become involved in the station?

I met up with one of the presenters who saw my music collection and suggested I become a guest. That ensued for a few years then eventually I did the presenters course.
