Get to know Damon

I’ve got vivid memory of listening to RTR in 2016 the week the great soul-house pioneer Colonel Abrams died. Boy oh boy did that serve to expand my small JJJ bubble. That singular Full Frequency show really served me well. Showing me the power of passionate underground radio with presenters that pride themselves as selectors.

Outside of the station I work work work and make music.

How did you become involved in the station?

I first started volunteering as a producer for The Mag (now On the Record); before getting involved in the back of house audio production side of things at the station. I’ve gone on to tech Slightly Oddway, host a variety of shows and do a bit of fill in production when I can.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Huge love out to 2024’s edition of Fwd Rwd @ the Bird. Just stacked with talent. Mad!
