Get to know Howie

Apart from my day job as an organisational psychology consultant, I am a senior editor of Isolated Nation, a pop culture online publication based in Boorloo Perth. I’m also an occasional photographer, specialising mostly in film.

How did you become involved in the station?

I was inspired to join as a presenter after l got into “Talk the Talk”, which was a great podcast/talk show about the interesting role language plays in our lives.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Andy Shauf changed my life two times – the first time was when he played with a full band in Melbourne in 2022, the second time was when he played solo at the Rechabite in 2024!

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Breakfast With Pam, Drivetime, Movie Squad, Homegrown, Up Late!
