Nick is a Nyoongar family man with his wife, Charmaine, five children, 25+ grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He has direct connections to the Whadjuk, Yued, Ballardong, Wilmen, Wardandi and Pinjarup people through the Abraham, Bennell, Humphries, Hume, Mippy, Worrall, Nettle, Harris and associated families.

Nick has additional community connections through his employment as the Regional Development Coordinator at South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council – Whadjuk Region. Other contributions Nick brings to the Board include a Bachelor of Business Administration (in progress with University of Technology, Sydney) and experience in sports development, community engagement and administration at local, state, national and international levels.
