Get to know Sebastian Hasluck

Outside of RTRFM I enjoy a multitude of different hobbies. One of life’s great challenges can sometimes be juggling all of these hobbies at the one time. I try to do a Sudoku a day, whilst also heavily unwinding by cooking and gardening. I love hiking, walking and exploring, whilst also finding time to relax and indulge in films and new TV series.

Presenting is one of those experiences you can’t quite put into words—you have to live it to truly understand. There’s something special about sharing moments of music and memory, giving voice to a deep love for sound, and finding a community that feels it too. That’s what the RTRFM experience is for me.

How did you become involved in the station?

Just like a lot of people I imagine presenting on RTRFM, I started as a music volly, just out of a pure expression of my interest for new music. Through that time what I really found is that I wanted to share that music and contribute to the incredible community that is RTR.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Seeing Ebo Taylor and his son in the flesh at Freo Social. I am still recovering from the knee injuries of getting down so low.
