It’s a mixed bag here on Artbeat this week with Bec Bowman back in the studio for three hours of chats about Boorloo arts and culture.

She is joined by Nathan Beard, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores his Australian-Thai heritage through sculpture and photography, to chat about his latest exhibition Low Yield Fruit, which opens on Saturday the 26th March at Sweet Pea Gallery.

The Journal of Ceramics Australia editor Vicki Grima joins Bec Bowman to discuss the organisations 60th Birthday milestone and a special edition dedicated the history and stories of the collective.

And Perth artist Jillian Ciemitis and artistic director Andrea Przygonski talk about a new showcase profiling female printmakers and their International counterparts at ARTSPACE in Adelaide.
