Summer has returned to Australia!

It is a time to soak up the sun, explore the outdoors or relax at the beach. However, it is important to explore and address the threat that this season has on our physical health.

Australia is the ‘Skin Cancer Capital’ of the World, where two in three Australians develop Skin Cancer before the age of Seventy.

On The Record Presenter Madeleine Lombardi is joined in the studio with Sally Blane, who is the Cancer Council and Sun Smart WA Manager. Together they sit down to discuss the latest campaign released by Sun Smart, including what other external factors contribute to the presence of Skin Cancer/Melanoma symptoms, and the various methods for people to protect themselves during days of increasing heat.
