Western Australia has produced some of the biggest names in independent music both nationally and internationally, with a reputation for producing great talent across a range of sounds and styles.

Every Saturday afternoon get involved with the local scene and catch interviews and live performances from a range of local musicians releasing their wares around town.

With news about what’s happening in the West Australian music industry and a gig guide to keep you informed and let you know where to go to catch your favourite local bands, Homegrown offers up a local music smorgasbord every week. From rock to punk, indie to electronica – if it comes from WA you’ll find it on Homegrown.
