The York Regional Writers Weekend, from 23 May to 25 May, is giving aspiring writers the chance to talk with some of WA’s most compelling authors across a variety of genres. Meet The Author – Up Close With The Writers Who Inspire Us is being held on Saturday 24 May and Sunday 25 May at The Rookery.

One of the featured authors, Laura Keenan – who is also a publisher at Night Parrot Press – joined Danae Gibson on Artbeat to discuss the event.
