Perth Royal Art Prize for Landscape

With the return of the Perth Royal Show this year comes the Perth Royal Art Prize for Landscape.

The generous $20,000 prize has attracted more than 200 entries across a broad spectrum of styles and mediums, with a record number of Western Australia’s best landscape artists short-listed for the prize, including both established and emerging artists from urban and rural WA, each bringing their own perspective to the theme of landscape.

Curator Sandra Murray joined Bec Bowman for Artbeat to chat about the award and accompanying exhibition which will be on display at Wilkinson Gallery, Claremont Showgrounds this September.
