Rock Art Australia CEO, Samantha Hamilton on Artbeat

Founded in 1988, Rock Art Australia is a not for profit organisation committed to bringing science and Aboriginal cultural knowledge together to advance the understanding of Australia and its ancient beginnings.

Rock Art Australia CEO, Samantha Hamilton says Rock Art Australia has supported two-way rock art research in the Kimberley for the past 25 years.

She joins Bec Bowman on Artbeat to talk about the research prompting a documentary.

The 45-minute documentary ‘Two ways: The Kimberley rock art legacy‘ by filmmaker Mark Jones shares outcomes of the Kimberley Rock Art Dating and Kimberley Visions projects through interviews, contemporary and archival footage.

The documentary will be screening on October, 10 at The University of Western Australia campus.
